9 days ago, the delegate count for Obama looked like this:
Today, without a single election in between, the countdown looks like this:
Obama is only 41 delegates away from the 2026 needed to be nominated for the Democratic party. Tomorrow will be the DNC meeting to determine what to do about Florida and Michigan (My opinion? They knew the rules and consequences from the beginning, and broke the rules anyway. Not a single delegate should be seated. But maybe that's just the teacher in me talking).
Sunday is the primary election in Puerto Rico. I don't really understand why the U.S. territories get to vote in the primaries, because they don't get to vote in the general election in November. In fact, I don't really understand why the U.S. even HAS territories anymore.
The last two primaries are in Montana and South Dakota on Tuesday.
Hope it's all wrapped up by then!!!
(P.S. Go Obama!!)
