Those of you that live in Virginia have surely seen the "Celebrity" ad by the McCain campaign, comparing Obama to Britney Spears and Paris Hilton. Those of you outside of Virginia who watch the news have heard of it, too, I'd assume. If you haven't seen it, here it is:

Besides pointing out how much people like Obama, the ad says nothing about McCain or why he thinks he's actually the one ready to lead. Great strategy. "Hey! The whole world loves this guy! So, don't vote for him!" Plus, he can't even get his facts right.
On top of that, he chooses to use Paris Hilton in the ad. Whose parents have donated the maximum to McCain's campaign. Good one. Insult your supporters' daughter. Paris's grandpappy made a very mean phone call to McCain about it. Paris, on the other hand, decided to make her own ad in response to McCain. Which I think is freaking hilarious.

And what was Obama's response to all of this? In an email from his campaign:
On a day when major news organizations across the country are taking Senator McCain to task for a steady stream of false, negative attacks, his campaign has launched yet another. Or, as some might say, ‘Oops! He did it again.’Classic.
Now, as promised, the stupidest campaign ad so far this year:
