McCain talk about bringing Congress back,” Pelosi said, incredulously. “He wasn’t even in Congress when we had two very important bills on energy.” Pelosi was referring to bills on tax credits for renewable sources of energy and hybrid cars. McCain leads the Senate in missed votes this Congress. The Speaker also pointed out that President Bush rebuffed McCain’s call for him to call an emergency session of Congress.
